Cosmo Couture

The 2010 Designer Charity Event (DCE), Cosmo Couture, will be held October 19th at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in Washington. This year’s event will be a juried competition and charity benefit in which local design firms partner with industry manufacturers to create high fashion inspired by the international community residing in Washington DC. Each firm may select a country to inspire the design of its couture piece. The work of the participating firms will be showcased during a full runway show.

We are excited to announce that our beneficiary will be My Sister’s Place, Inc., the largest and oldest non-profit agency exclusively serving battered women and their children in the District of Columbia.
